Kitchen Display

Route food and hospitality orders straight to the kitchen screen instead of a paper ticket.

What it does

A dedicated kitchen screen showing incoming tickets and their status, with its own PIN logins for kitchen staff so they never see pricing, customers, or financials. Also powers a read-only Order Status Display customers can watch while they wait.

Why it matters

Paper tickets get lost, smudged, and re-printed. A screen keeps the queue accurate and gives the front of house a live view of what's actually ready.

How to use it

  1. Enable Kitchen Display for the business in Business Settings.
  2. Create kitchen logins under Manage Kitchen Logins.
  3. Kitchen staff sign in on a tablet at the pass; tickets appear as POS sales are taken.
  4. Staff mark a ticket ready and it clears from the active queue.
  5. Optionally create a Display login and put it on a screen facing customers — it shows order numbers only, grouped Preparing / Ready.

Main buttons and actions

  • Mark ticket ready
  • Manage kitchen logins
  • Manage display logins
  • Switch display name

Example workflow

  1. A POS sale creates a kitchen ticket automatically.
  2. The ticket appears on the kitchen screen as pending.
  3. Kitchen marks it ready when the food is up.
  4. Front of house sees the status change without walking back.
