Customers

Centralize customer records, balances, and order history.

What it does

A central customer directory: contact details, running balances, and full order/invoice history per customer. A customer's own page is tabbed — Overview (with optional customer type, tax number, billing address, and a separate billing contact), Orders, Transactions, Balance & Aging, Pricing, and Documents.

Why it matters

Sales and support need customer history in seconds, not by cross-referencing separate order and invoice lists. Wholesale or long-standing accounts also need their own agreed price per item, and somewhere to keep signed agreements or tax paperwork against the record itself.

How to use it

  1. Open Customers from the Sales section.
  2. Search or filter to find a customer, or add a new one.
  3. Open a customer's detail page to see their balance, due dates, and full order/invoice history.
  4. Use the Pricing tab to set a fixed per-item price for that customer, and Documents to attach files to their record.

Main buttons and actions

  • + Add Customer
  • Edit contact details
  • Set customer pricing
  • Attach a document
  • View balance & aging
  • Filter by due date/status

Example workflow

  1. Add the customer once, on first order.
  2. Every subsequent order and invoice links back to their record automatically.
  3. A per-item price set on the Pricing tab overrides the catalog price whenever that customer buys it.
  4. Check their detail page any time for an up-to-date balance.
